With more than 45 years of combined experience behind our work, there isn’t much we haven’t seen — and if we encounter something new, we know how to figure it out.

Founder and owner Christopher Hons was born and raised on the north side of Houston in Tomball, where he grew up on a small farm and learned early the value of hard work, responsibility, and taking pride in what you build. Today, he is proud to call Houston home and to serve homeowners throughout the Houston metro area through Legacy Pools & Outdoor.
After graduating from college, Chris spent four years in finance and banking, followed by more than 20 years in the automotive industry, primarily with Sewell, where accountability, precision, and customer experience were non-negotiable. Those years shaped his professional approach and continue to influence how he leads Legacy Pools & Outdoor — with structure, transparency, and a commitment to doing things the right way.
Chris and his wife have lived in the Memorial area since 2012 and are raising their three children — Addison (16), Noah (13), and Mason (11) — who are all actively involved in local sports clubs. When he’s not working with clients or overseeing projects, Chris’s time is centered around family, faith, and community, along with their two dogs, McLaren, a Great Dane, and Aston, a Yorkie.
As a hands-on owner, Chris remains closely involved in every aspect of the business, from routine pool maintenance to repairs, remodels, and new construction projects. His background allows him to bring a calm, knowledgeable perspective to each job, ensuring customers receive clear guidance, honest communication, and dependable service they can trust.
